Delivery policy
At Perth Bullion we make transacting as simple as possible while upholding our legal obligations and protecting your privacy. Here is exactly how your order gets to you.

When we dispatch
- Orders are dispatched once payment has been received and matched. Bank transfers are matched every morning from the bank feed; cash is confirmed at the counter.
- Orders with payment confirmed before 14:00 Perth time on a business day are dispatched the same day. Later payments go out the next business day.
- Before packing, every order is laid out and photographed as proof of contents. The carrier label is scanned and the tracking number is emailed to you as soon as the parcel is packed, then again when it is lodged, when it is waiting for collection and when it is delivered.
Carriers and charges
- Australia Post: prepaid satchel priced by the weight of your items (Small satchel up to 900 g $18.00, Medium satchel up to 2.7 kg $23.00, Large satchel up to 4.5 kg $27.00) incl. GST. Signature on delivery. Typically 2–6 business days. Delivers to PO boxes and parcel lockers.
- Team Global Express (TGE): priced by zone and weight from our rate card. Next business day to most capital cities. TGE cannot deliver to PO boxes, parcel lockers, Parcel Collect or post offices; checkout hides TGE for those addresses and tells you why.
- Insured delivery is added to every delivered order: 0.7% of the first $1,000 and 0.35% above $1,000 (minimum $5.00), incl. GST. For example, $500.00 order: $5.00; $2,000.00 order: $10.50; $10,000.00 order: $38.50. It is shown as its own line in the cart total at checkout before you pay. Collection and storage orders don't pay it.
- Free shipping on orders of 20 or more items covers the postage or freight; insured delivery still applies. Mix and match products to reach it. Orders placed into free storage are not eligible for free shipping later and cannot be merged into a later free-shipping order.

Packaging
Parcels are plain and unbranded. Where capsules are available, orders of less than half a tube ship in capsules; larger quantities ship in mint tubes with void filler. Collectables are never shipped in the same parcel as bullion.
Insurance and signature
Every parcel is our responsibility, for its full value, until it is delivered: if it is lost or damaged in transit we replace or refund it. That is your right under the Australian Consumer Law, and the insured delivery charge is how we fund that cover. Someone must be at the address to sign; carriers do not leave bullion unattended. If nobody is home the parcel is taken to a post office or depot and we email you where to collect it, with a reminder. Please check the parcel on receipt and tell us within 48 hours of any problem.
Click and collect
Choose a store at checkout. If your items are at the other store we transfer them (normally within 2 days) and your order is ready within 72 hours of payment. You receive a “Ready for collection” email; bring photo ID and your order number. See store hours.
Storage instead of delivery
Choose “Store it” at checkout to hold your order in our vault free for 3 months and ship or collect later. See storage.
