Steer wrestling is a classic rodeo event where a horse-mounted rider chases a steer, leaps from the horse to the steer, and wrestles it to the ground by grabbing its horns and pulling it off-balance. This challenging and high-risk event highlights the bravery and skill of the cowboy.
Superior Purity and Craftsmanship
The Texas Silver Round’s specifications – “.9999 Silver” and “1 Troy Oz” – are engraved across the top and bottom of the round, respectively. This high purity level is comparable to select products from the Royal Canadian Mint and the Perth Mint of Australia. The official Texas Mint mark, a trademarked silhouette of the state, is visible on the right-hand side. The weight and purity of the round are guaranteed.
Iconic Obverse
The obverse of this high-quality mint strike features Texas’ iconic lone star prominently in the foreground. The star’s smooth engraving is framed by a textured topographical outline of the state of Texas. “TEXAS” arches proudly over the top of the obverse in large capital letters. The mintage year is engraved in the bottom left, just southwest of the Rio Grande bordering Texas and Mexico.
Packaging Options
For bulk purchases, the Texas Silver Round is available in a monster box exclusively produced for the Texas Mint. This durable box, built from cold-rolled steel and finished with a matte black powder coat, holds 500 1-ounce rounds in 20 protective tubes of 25 rounds each. The lid features an orange cutout of the state of Texas, and each sealed box is secured with a unique serial number and a holographic seal for maximum protection.
Alternatively, the Texas Silver Round can be purchased in a mini-monster box containing 10 protective tubes of 25 rounds each, totaling 250 silver rounds. This box offers similar design and security features.
